The Dark Side of Nightfall (Book One): Tales From Nightfall Trilogy

by Tim O'Rourke

About this book

Nightfall is a town defined by its isolation, a place where the mountain mist hides more than just lovers seeking solitude. Beneath its quiet, scenic exterior lies a haunting reality where the veil between the living and the dead is dangerously thin. For those drawn to the allure of the supernatural, this collection delivers a chilling exploration of desire that transcends the grave.

The narrative unfolds through two gripping tales of forbidden love that push the boundaries of paranormal romance. In the first, a bride finds her honeymoon shattered when she is confronted by a spectral figure from her past, forcing her to choose between the safety of her marriage and a dark, lingering obsession. The second story follows a woman on the run who seeks refuge in the village, only to find that her true danger—and her deepest passion—resides within the arms of a mysterious stranger who may not be entirely human.

Tim O'Rourke weaves a racy, atmospheric tapestry that feels like a modern, supernatural installment of The Twilight Zone. If you are looking for a story that blends suspense, ghostly encounters, and intense, secret cravings, this is the perfect addition to your reading list. Prepare to be haunted by every page.

This book was so great I couldn't put it down. It sucks you in and you have to keep reading it. I'm not one to give any information about the read itself. That's for you to do. What I can do is highly recommend this book. If you choose not to read, then that would be your loss.. I can't wait for the next book. Tim O'Rourke you are a great writer and author. ) One person found this helpful

Tim's usual good writing, OK stories

There are 2 short stories in this book. To me it would be what the TV show Twilight Zone would be like in 2015. I automatically buy what ever Tim O'Rourke writes and I am seldom disappointed. This book was just OK for me, but I would probably read book 2. )

Twisted tales

October 4, 2015

These dark and twisted tales do not disappoint and some of the endings were a total surprise. Tim has a way of weaving his stories that always leaves you wanting more, even his other series makes me wish there were just a few more pages left to read when I have turned the last page. I am not a huge fan of short stories but would definitely recommend these books to anyone who is a fan or who loves scary stories on a dark and gloomy night around the campfire. ) One person found this helpful
