5 stars! This novella was amazing! It had everything a romance story needs to make it compelling. The concept and creativity of the story was unique and intriguing. Usually I dont enjoy third person pov as much but this was so enjoyable that it didnt matter what pov the author chose to write from because the writing did the work. This paranormal, spicy romance is entertaining, funny, and imaginative. Claire, the misunderstood FMC meets the ghostly MMC at a point in her life when she's barely hanging on and doesn't think she can handle one more complication. But handsome Zane is charming, cheeky, & demanding of her attention. Casper Broodings paints a clear picture of this unlikely couple in a story that had me laughing out loud, biting my lip, & turning the pages to see if they could find a happily ever after. )

This was such a bittersweet read. I loved the characters, I loved the pacing, I loved the ending. I just wish it was longer. I devoured it in one sitting, to be honest. I want more! )
