by Joanne Pence

About this book

Mallory Conway is a runaway bride who thought she knew exactly what she wanted until she bolted from the altar. Seeking refuge in her family’s remote Idaho cabin, she hopes to find clarity while penning her advice column. However, peace is the last thing she discovers when her past collides with her present in the form of Gunnar McDermott. Once a daring search-and-rescue pilot, Gunnar is now a wounded hero struggling to find his way, and he is the last person Mallory expects to encounter in the solitude of the wilderness.

This enchanting paranormal romance thrives on the tension of a second-chance love story set against a backdrop of chilling, spectral mischief. As Mallory and Gunnar navigate their complicated history, they discover the cabin is far from empty. The resident spirits are not merely observers; they are active, mischievous matchmakers determined to push these two souls toward a destiny they almost missed.

If you are looking for a heartwarming story that balances emotional growth with whimsical supernatural elements, this is the perfect escape. The Donnelly Cabin Inn series offers a cozy, magical atmosphere where love is never truly lost, only waiting for the right ghostly nudge to bloom again.

A cute paranormal runaway bride cabin romance

This Can’t Be Love is a cute romance about a runaway bride, an old friend, and a haunted cabin. This is a sweet somewhat silly story that is a bit far fetched at times but will definitely lift the reader’s spirits. The narrator of the audiobook does a good job with the book series and is well suited to the job. )
