Cassidy moved to the eerie town of Shadowvale seeking a fresh start, far away from the wreckage of her past. But as the town gears up for its notorious Halloween celebrations, she finds herself unable to shake the chilling sensation of being watched. Her life takes a dark, intoxicating turn when she meets Johnny Gray, a mysterious stranger who sweeps her off her feet with a magnetism that feels both dangerous and fated. Their undeniable connection is electric, but Cassidy soon discovers a terrifying truth: her charming date isn't just a man from out of town; he is a ghost who died in 1953.
Johnny has been trapped in a spectral limbo for decades, fueled by a single, agonizing memory of the girl he promised to wait for. Now that Cassidy has finally arrived, he is determined to claim her once and for all. This dark, spicy paranormal romance blends heart-pounding suspense with a haunting, star-crossed love story that transcends the grave.
If you are craving a spooky read that balances intense, atmospheric thrills with red-hot chemistry, this is your next obsession. It is a seductive, ghostly tale of obsession and second chances that will leave you breathless long after the final page.

I’m obsessed with this! I loved every second of this story. I don’t know if it was the Grease obsessed girl in me or what, but this book played out like a movie in my head. The ending was the best. Definitely a perfect Halloween read! )

I absolutely loved reading this book. Never a dull moment with Halloween approaching and a certain ghost able to become one of the living for just one day. Johnny Gray, the ghost who has been waiting seventy years for his sweetheart to return. An amazing tale that will pull on your heartstrings. A definite must read. )

This story is so tragic and so beautiful. I loved the 50's vibes and how johnny always saw Cassidy for exactly who she was. The ending is open ended depending on what your prefer, its good both ways and I'm not sure which i prefer. Overall it was really good and I'm glad Cassidy and Johnny found each other! ) One person found this helpful
