Veiled Passages (Mary O'Reilly Series Book 10)

by Terri Reid

About this book

When a renowned mystery novelist is found dead in a hotel bathtub, the authorities call it a tragic accident. But the victim’s restless spirit knows the truth: it was cold-blooded murder. For Mary O'Reilly, a psychic medium with a knack for solving the unsolvable, this case is personal. Dragged into a web of literary secrets, Mary must collaborate with a group of eccentric mystery writers who are desperate to uncover the killer among them.

The ghost genre takes center stage as Mary balances this haunting investigation with the looming threat of the vengeful Gary Copper, who remains determined to destroy her and the man she loves. Amidst the chaos, the long-standing tension between Mary and Bradley reaches a fever pitch. Fans of the series have waited years for their walk down the aisle, and this installment delivers the emotional payoff they crave.

This installment is a masterclass in slow-burn romance, where every stolen moment between the leads carries the weight of their dangerous reality. With its clever twists and deep emotional resonance, this paranormal mystery is the perfect addition to your bookshelf. If you are looking for a supernatural thrill that prizes character development as much as its chilling ghosts, your next obsession starts here.

Don't Miss Out!

April 10, 2015

I've read several in this series, but this is the first review I've written.I've read some of the other reviews, and can say, this IS NOT a disappointment. Rather, its a stepping stone into another series. Sean's story....which I am eager to begin!! But, lets first tackle this book. I love this series. This book is no exception. Ms. Reid's writing is filled with small details that give more depth to her story. Her characters, Mary and Bradley (the two main characters) are fully fleshed, and...

Good series

I really liked this series. There is one thing that just kinda bugged me. I kept waiting for that connection to hit between Mary & Bradley. I felt we got to witness such deep connections between Mary & Mike, Mary & Ian and the rest of the gang. Sure you get to see Bradley struggle with finding his wife was dead. But what about him and his family where he came from before he was married? I felt like after the 3rd or 4th book I kept waiting for there to be a good moment where they would have...

Loved everything about it

Loved it. Loved everything about it. Ms. Reid has a way of pulling you into the story and keeping you there until the very end. It had many twists and turns along the way. It's seldom that I don't guess who the murderer is before the author let's it be known, but this is one of the times I didn't. I loved all of the characters. They were believable and well fleshed-out. Thank you for another great read. )

Awesome series

I ran across the Mary O'Reilly series thanks to Amazon's recommendations based on my previous Kindle history. This series has a little something for everyone; it's a detective story, a love story, and a ghost story all wrapped up into one. I found it easy to plow through a book in 2-3 hours but still get into the characters' stories. It was a very enjoyable read, and I'd be very interested in reading more. It seems like she has set up a few avenues in this final book for a couple of possible...

They just get better and better

April 29, 2013

This is one of the few paranormal mystery series that I am not embarrassed to have my grown kids see me reading. There is lots of flirting and some romance but the sex is teasingly implied and the romances are for the long haul and are realistic. The focus is the mystery in each book and each book solves some while introducing others, without leaving frustrating cliffhangers at the end. Each book in the series has a happy ending, even though all of the threads are not ended. This particular...
