Sage McKennan’s dream of opening the Winter Song bed and breakfast turns into a nightmare when her partner, Cooper Davis, dies unexpectedly. Grief-stricken and isolated in the Wyoming wilderness, Sage has no idea that Cooper has refused to cross over. Bound by love and a stubborn refusal to leave her side, his spirit lingers, watching over her from the shadows of their unfinished project.
Enter Noah Finnley, a man desperate enough to accept a job at a property rumored to be haunted. When he discovers Sage is literally attached to a ghost, he realizes he has signed up for far more than a simple partnership. This slow-burn urban fantasy explores the delicate, supernatural tension between a grieving woman, the man trying to win her heart, and the jealous spirit who refuses to relinquish his hold.
As a dangerous secret emerges from the local landscape, the unlikely duo of a living man and a dead one must forge an uneasy alliance. If Noah and Cooper cannot set aside their volatile differences, Sage may find herself following her former partner into the great beyond. Perfect for fans of soulful paranormal romance, this story masterfully blends heart-wrenching emotion with a chilling mystery.

Winter Song has it all....romance, ghost and mystery. The writing style is heartfelt which makes the characters realistic and enjoyable. Jennifer McMurrain did a wonderful job of portraying a young woman who is unaware that her first love is haunting her. I loved everything about this book, the dialogue, characters, setting and plot. I highly encourage you to read this book, you won't be disappointed!!! This is my first book by the author and it won't be my last. ) 2 people found this helpful

I got this free and pretty much enjoyed the read. It does have a different twist but not to the point of putting the book down, at all. Nice plot, warmhearted people, very little \"language\", sprinkled with humor, certain scenes are, thankfully, left to your imagination. If you want to read a good romance that is not the everyday run-of-the-mill-book I would recommend this one. Would recommend it for adults. )

Not only did I not see the first plot surprise in this book coming, I also did not see the many plot surprises that followed coming. Loved the story and its' solid ending, and that there were very few grammatical errors, as well as the fact that this author is excellent at naming her characters, so not a \"Jake\" among the bunch. Beautiful succint descriptions of everything, including the mountains of Wyoming. .All authors and proofreaders should invest in better software or turn the spell...

I must begin with a disclaimer--I haven't read much in the genre of paranormal romance, and what I had read up until this point left me a little disappointed. After reading Winter Song, that is no longer the case. Jennifer McMurrain has crafted a fast-paced story around well-drawn characters who, whether living or dead, capture your sympathy from their opening scenes. I particularly appreciated the elements of humor woven throughout what could have been a grim tale. Thanks to a charming and...
