The Winter Solstice is usually a time for reflection, but for Raven BoneTalker, it marks the beginning of a high-stakes struggle for survival. As an Ante-Fae Bone Witch, Raven finds her loyalties torn when she is summoned before the Queen of the Ante-Fae and forced to choose between the safety of her people and the lives of those she holds dear. With an ultimatum from her grandfather threatening to fracture her family, Raven is pushed to the brink of an impossible decision.
This gripping paranormal adventure weaves together ghostly encounters and mystical intrigue as Raven balances her duties with a desperate plea from Vixen, the owner of the Burlesque A Go-Go. When a malevolent astral entity begins draining the life from a local web designer, Raven must step into the shadows to stop the carnage. Her investigation pulls her into the heart of Kipa’s homeland for a tense meeting with the legendary bard, Väinämöinen.
Fans of the series will love the slow-burn intensity of the reverse-harem dynamics and the rich, historical undertones that define this chapter of Raven’s life. With her future hanging in the balance, Raven must embrace the fluidity of her destiny before it is too late.

I so enjoyed this book. So much adventure, emotions and excitement. I can’t help but wonder what will happen with Kipa and Raven on their new journey. I always feel I’ve entered into Ms Galenorn’s stories and lived there for a time, she is a gifted story crafter and I highly recommend this book. )

A lot of twists and turns to move Raven off the field and into a new life. Good to see her growing, and dodging curveballs. )

Ravens books are always my favorite. This one didn’t disappoint at all! There were one or two threads that I would have liked to see fleshed out more, but that ultimately doesn’t matter. Raven does a whole bunch of growing as a person, or should I say as a witch, in this book. And, not to give anything away, but I thought the end of the book was brilliant. We travel to a lot of different places as we follow Raven around, and there’s some really evocative scene setting. Just a really satisfying...

Broke my heart to read this, you see I lost my husband after 51 years of marriage. Life changes us, God rebuilds us, giving me the reality of seeing my beloved when I die. You may or may not believe in God, I do with my whole heart. This story brought me to tears, and yet I look forward to what Mrs. Galenorn will write book 17, the characters in every book has additional characters. How they intertwine, makes it imperative you read in the order written. Enjoy )
